How do I duplicate a task?

Learn how to make a copy of a list that you can edit to make changes on without having to start over from scratch.

Written by Matt McQuinn

Duplicating a task copies its full configuration (targeting, data points and settings) into a new draft you can tweak before launching. It is the fastest way to run a similar search with a small change, like a new location.

  • In the main task list, click the three dots next to the task you want to copy, then Duplicate.

  • Or open the task and use the dropdown menu in the top-right corner.

  • Adjust anything you like in the draft, then launch.

Tip: to see exactly what a previous task requested, open it and click the Configuration tab.
